Witnesses say that the shooting could have been avoided, but MARTA Officers seem more aggressive than necessary. One witness said he told the MARTA officers who were pursuing the suspect that he (the suspect) was harmless and mentally ill.
If you’ve been to Five Points lately, then Jack Fossett is probably as familiar a face as the Coke sign at Peachtree and Decatur streets.
